Industrial Energy:
The Industrial Energy division delivers tailored energy solutions, sourcing industrial fuel oils through imports and converting refinery and industrial byproducts into usable fuels. Its product range features heavy and distillate fuel oils, waste-derived oils, coal tar fuels, as well as creosote wood preservatives, all at competitive prices.
The division has embarked on the exiting journey to drive the development of natural gas as an alternative energy source for industrial use.
Tank Terminals:
Tank Terminals operates as an independent provider specialising in bulk liquid storage solutions. This division facilitates the receipt and dispatch of bulk liquids using vessels and road tankers, operating through inland terminals and port facilities leased from Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA). It delivers secure and efficient storage and transportation services for both internal company needs and external industrial clients, including those handling imports and exports via marine vessels. The terminal sites are situated at FFS-owned plants inland and on land leased from TNPA within major South African ports. Locations include three facilities in the Port of Cape Town, one at Maydon Wharf in Durban, and another in Richards Bay, providing widespread national coverage for liquid bulk handling needs
Marine:
The Marine division supplies marine fuels by pipeline bunkering, truck loading, and barge activities at major ports throughout South Africa. It offers both Low Sulphur Marine Gas Oil (LSMGO) and Very Low Sulphur Fuel Oil (VLSFO) to meet regulatory standards and customer needs. Its customer base ranges from local and international fishing fleets to independent and support vessels, recreational boats, cargo and freight carriers, and superyachts. Marine operations are located at crucial ports, including Richards Bay, Maydon Wharf in Durban, Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha), Mossel Bay, the Elbow in Cape Town V&A, the Port of Cape Town, Saldanha Bay, and St Helena Bay.
